Another to ply his trade in Serie A, ‘Super Mario’ is famous for his bad temper on and off the field, with several run-ins with Jose Mourinho leading to Balotelli missing a string of games this season. But he still managed to make 40 appearances, many off the bench, scoring 11 goals and assisting eight.
Balotelli, though of Ghanaian heritage, has opted to play for the Italian national team, representing the under-21s 16 times now.
He’s sure to be an integral part of the Italian team for years to come, and with the player’s unrest at Inter coupled with interest from both halves of Manchester, don’t be surprised to see him lighting up the Premier League next year with his pace, strength and powerful free-kicks.
