Considered the most sought-after player in South America at the moment, Neymar has been attracting the attention of European giants Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, AC Milan, Man City (who have ‘first-refusal’ on him)…and West Ham, who have recently bid £12 million for the pacy striker who can play on either wing or through the middle. His 12 goals in 17 appearances this season, including a five-goal haul against Guarani in the Brazilian Cup, had led to Pelé and Romario urging then-Brazilian national coach Dunga to call Neymar up to his World Cup squad. Unfortunately, Dunga decided not to call up the 18 year-old, leading to a 14,000 signature petition and an angry Felipe Massa stating that “You have to take the best players to a World Cup, and that’s not what Dunga does”. Well, since then Brazil have been knocked out in the quarter-finals and Dunga has been sacked…Massa for manager?
